DALLAS—At the 2023 D CEO Commercial Real Estate Awards Ceremony, Onu Ventures, Inc. CEO Mikial Onu was named Emerging Commercial Real Estate Leader of the Year by D CEO Magazine, a supplement of the main D Magazine monthly lifestyle magazine covering Dallas-Fort Worth.

“I am beyond excited and humbled to be recognized by my peers in the incredible Dallas-Fort Worth real estate market,” remarks Mr. Onu. “This is a testament to the hard work and vision of the entire Onu Ventures team.”

Launched just two short years ago, Onu Ventures, Inc has completed over $20 million in real estate transactions across Texas, and currently has a portfolio valued at over $125 million. Onu Ventures is currently working on developments in Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, with additional plans to enter the Golden Triangle market.

Annually, D CEO hands out awards recognizing various business leaders for their contributions in the Metroplex. Dallas-Fort Worth is one of the most competitive commercial real estate markets in the  country, and it is considered a prestigious honor to be nominated by fellow real estate industry peers for industry-related awards.

The Emerging Commercial Real Estate leader award is given out annually to up-and-coming real estate professionals that are making a significant local impact. This is fitting for Mr. Onu and the Onu Ventures team as they embark on The Adaline, an ambitious project which will serve as one of the first market-rate mixed-use developments to open in the Best Southwest area of Dallas County.
